** IMPORTANT - We must receive your deposit check in
our office prior to the reservation-hold expiration. In most cases, this means you must overnight mail it to us since
the reservation courtesy-holds are only good for 1 to 3 days. Reservations will not
be guaranteed prior to receipt of the deposit check. Personal checks not accepted
for payment on packages with travel dates within 30 days.

Your Contract With Tropical Sands Vacations
Thank you for choosing a Tropical Sands Vacations travel package. To ensure that you understand the conditions of your particular package, please read the following policies and procedures completely. A signature acknowledging your understanding is required at the bottom this agreement.
Travel Cancellation Protection
Sometimes unexpected circumstances arise, so we strongly recommend you purchase
pre-trip cancellation insurance. If accepted, this must be purchased at the
time of deposit. This will cover each person in the event of a
cancellation up to the day prior to travel. Some restrictions may apply. Rates
vary by reservation and dates of travel. Contact Tropical Sands Vacations for more
information as they relate to your booking
Deposit/Payment Requirements
- Your package can be booked with a $175 per person deposit if travel is outside of
50 days
- If travel is within 50 days, full payment will be required at the time of booking
Your package price is guaranteed except for any US or foreign government tax changes that may occur after the booking has been made. Also, reservations not yet paid in full are subject to any fuel surcharges that might be imposed by the government or airlines.
*We reserve the right to reinvoice you in case of an error made in computing your package price*
Amendments, Cancellations, Availability, Amenities
Should you wish to change any details of your booking, we will do
our best to help. If the changes increase the overall package price, we can very
often waive fees. However, please understand that your right to full and partial
refunds is limited. A minimum of $50 per person will be assessed for any
cancellation or changes to your package made more than 50 days prior to departure.
Penalties of 50% - 100% of your package price per person may be assessed in
penalties for any cancellations or changes made within 50 days prior to departure. These
penalties/fees that may apply will vary depending on policies of the resorts, airlines,
and tour companies used by Tropical Sands Vacations. Once travel has begun, no
refund for unused or partially used services will be made. We will provide a more
fully detailed cancellations/changes penalties terms and conditions as they apply to your
reservation upon request. Neither Tropical Sands Vacations or its tour operators are
responsible for any changes made by resorts, or scheduled or charter air carriers which
are beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, routing
changes, aircraft changes, flight cancellations, changes to flight schedules, or resort
amenities/offers. In no event shall any party be held liable for consequential
damages. Although overbookings are very rare, they are the responsibility of the
airlines and resort properties, not Tropical Sands Vacations or its associated tour
operators. Rights are reserved to substitute flight and hotel/resort accommodations
and to make alterations in the itinerary which do not constitute a major change, if
necessary, due to circumstances beyond the control of Tropical Sands Vacations or its
associated tour operators.
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract or the contracts with the associated tour operators (you may ask for a copy of the tour operators Terms and Conditions) or the breach thereof shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Uniform Rules for for Better Business Bureau Arbitration, and the judgement upon award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof
Proof of citizenship and proper documentation is YOUR
responsibility
U.S. citizens will require proof of citizenship when traveling in Mexico.
Be sure to carry one of the following with you when you
check in at the airport:
1) - Valid U.S. passport
OR
2) - State or county issued Birth Certificate with an affixed or raised
seal AND photo I.D. (photo ID not necessary for children
under 18 traveling with parent)
Additional Special Circumstance Requirements
- Married women using a passport or birth certificate in their maiden name
MUST bring a copy of their marriage certificate or risk being denied boarding
- NON-U.S. Citizens - Ask Tropical Sands Vacations or contact
the Mexican Tourist Board at 1-800-44MEXICO regarding specific requirements
- For children NOT traveling with BOTH legal parents - either of the
following is required for travel: 1) a signed and notarized
affidavit of parental consent from the other parent authorizing the children's travel,
or 2) a signed and notarized affidavit of sole
custody (this also applies for widowed parents)

entry into Mexico or your return into the US, please call the Mexico Board of Tourism at

No refunds will be made to passengers who fail to possess proper documentation and are denied boarding or entry into the the destination
Final payment is due in our office 50 days prior to departure. $25 per person late fees will be added to your reservation in final payment is not received by this date
